Challenge

To create a welcoming environment in a 96 room hotel that offers the transient traveler an inviting "final destination with ambience" to meet, entertain, relax and enjoy by evoking the highlights and beauty of the Auburn hills and history.

Solution

I created an entry lobby, indicative of a home with shelves of books to review, read and relax.I chose rich, full body colors and soft textures to ensure comfort. A large custom mural of the region was created as a focus-point for the lobby. Custom drapery panels were created and installed in the rooms.
